2025 | Anomie
From mid-2025 until February 2026, Ghostlight Productions worked with the Anomie script by the brilliant Wren Brian to compete in their first ever Eastern Ontario Drama League One-Act Festival competition since their inception. The EODL One-Act Festival was hosted by Theatre Night In Merrickville (TNIM) in November and Anomie was put together by our smallest production team yet, comprised of Ghostlight's original founding members, and they managed to receive 5 nominations during the EODL award ceremony! Of those nominations, they walked away with the Peterborough Theatre Guild Adjudicator's Award for best performing pair.

This production team knew that they wanted to take Anomie beyond EODL and offer it to the community in a similar way to their past productions. In February 2026, they worked with the Smiths Falls + District Curling Club to offer two back-to-back viewings to the community and raised money for Lanark County Mental Health.

2021 - Current | LHYCI Annual Haunted House Fundraiser
One of the first events that Ghostlight began coordinating was the Lanark Highlands Youth Centre Inc. annual Haunted House fundraiser as a way to keep a local Halloween tradition alive, keep youth involved in positive and safe initiatives within their community, and to help raise awareness of and fundraiser for the LHYCI.

Each year in collaboration with the LHYCI, Ghostlight transforms a portion of the youth centre space into a series of haunting rooms that showcase youth and community talent in terms of acting, production and artistic ability.

To date, they have involved over 40 youth and community members in this event, created over 20 unique rooms and have raised about $3000.00 for the LHYCI.

Cast + Crew:
Andy West (set lead and stage manager), Rayna Critchley (prop and artistic lead), Lucas Tennant (tech lead).
